How Best Friend Game uses information when you create quizzes, play, and return to your results.
This policy covers the browser game at bestfriendgame.com. The separate BestiTest app policy describes the app. For questions or requests, email vikkyshetty719@gmail.com.
Information the website handles
- The name or nickname you enter, quiz answers, and the link identifiers used to find your quiz.
- Player names, their guesses, scores, and completion records.
- If you use optional Google sign-in: your Google account identifier, name, email, and profile picture.
- Browser cookies used to keep a session and remember creator access.
- A device notification token if you enable supported push notifications.
- Technical usage information collected through analytics and normal server requests, which may include browser information and IP addresses.
How information is used
The site stores quiz records in its database to serve shared links, compare answers, display scores, and restore access to quizzes. Optional Google sign-in supports account access. Notification tokens support quiz-result notifications where enabled. Analytics helps describe use of the site.
What other people can see
The game displays creator and player names and quiz scores. Players see quiz choices and answers as part of play; the creator can review attempts. Anyone who receives or is forwarded a quiz or leaderboard link may open it. Links are not restricted invitations. Use a nickname and avoid sensitive information.
Cookies and service providers
The website sets a session cookie with a configured lifetime of 30 days and a creator remember cookie with a configured lifetime of one year. Browser settings, signing out, or clearing cookies can end access sooner. A cookie's expiry does not delete the corresponding database records.
The site integrates Google Analytics for usage measurement and Firebase/Google services for optional sign-in and notifications. Some pages load fonts from Google. Requests to these providers can transmit technical information, such as your IP address and browser details. Read Google's privacy policy and Firebase's privacy information. Browser settings can limit cookies and notification permissions; blocking essential cookies or JavaScript may prevent parts of the game from working.
Storage and deletion
Quiz records are stored on the server independently of your browser session. Signing out or clearing cookies does not erase names, answers, or scores. The website does not currently provide an automatic expiry date for quiz records.
To request deletion, email vikkyshetty719@gmail.com with the quiz link and the data concerned. Do not send passwords or identity documents in your initial message. The operator may need to verify the request before changing or deleting records.
Your choices
You can play without linking a Google account, use a nickname, limit where you share your link, and manage notification permissions in your browser. Contact the address above to ask about access, correction, or deletion of your data.
Children
The service is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact the address above with the relevant quiz link so the operator can investigate and remove the data.
Changes
This page's revision date changes when the policy text is updated. Contact support if an explanation here does not match your experience of the website.
